Inaugural ‘Exhibitor Masterclass’ event launched

A one day course to super charge exhibitor activity

FaceTime - working in partnership with the NEC and GES - has announced the launch of a new event for exhibitors looking for fresh ideas to supercharge their exhibition activity in the modern information age.
The Exhibitor Masterclass at the NEC takes place on 4 September 2014, and will be a day filled with brilliant speakers, thought-provoking conversation and insightful learning.

The one day event will cover a variety of forward thinking topics relating to enhancing exhibition performance from disciplines such as digital and data, to human behaviour, sensory marketing and sales psychology.

The carefully thought out programme is ideal for companies and individuals who are new to exhibiting and those wanting to amplify their existing activity.

The event costs £150 + VAT per person to attend, however, exhibitors at AEO member shows are able to receive a FOC discount from their show organisers.

Jim Curry, Deputy Director, AEO said: “We’re really excited about the Masterclass series. It not only delivers real insight for exhibitors but delivers real value for those investing their money in the exhibitions organised by AEO members as they seek to maximise a return on their stands.

“We’ve developed a really strong schedule for attendees to inspire performance and the collaborative approach from the NEC and Global Experience Specialists (GES) is a credit to the exhibition industry.”

Stephen Richards, the NEC’s Sales Director, added: “The Exhibitor Masterclass is a massive initiative for us. We’ve invested heavily in the day, and we want to grow the event to become an annual focal point for the industry.

“It’s also another positive step as we aim to add value to what we offer our exhibition organisers and their exhibitors. We’re always looking to improve, and if we can help our organisers keep their exhibitors that’s great, but if we can help them attract new exhibitors who in turn benefit from working with the NEC, that’s even better.”

Global Experience Specialists (GES), Nick Marshall, Executive Chairman, EMEA said: “We’re very proud to get behind this event. It’s important that we, as an industry, help exhibitors maximise their return from exhibiting and that we share the knowledge we have built up over the years. Successful exhibitions benefit everyone, so being at the forefront of an event like this is a real privilege.”
