Top Australian tourism providers partner with Luxperience

Tourism Western Australia and Tourism NT have partnered with Luxperience, the annual business exchange for the international travel trade held in the Sydney this September, to promote their unique luxury and experiential travel offerings to an exclusive audience of high-end buyers from the UK and around the world.

As well as exhibiting at Luxperience, both Tourism WA and Tourism NT will be taking a selection of handpicked international buyers to experience for themselves a selection of their high-end tourism offerings, including El Questro Homestead, Bamurru Plains, and Longtitude 131.  

Luxperience is now in its third year, having held its inaugural event in September 2012.  The show, which sits alongside Pure in Marrakesh, ILTM in Cannes and Shanghai and Travelweek in Brazil, aims to raise the profile of the Asia Pacific region as an innovator in true experiential travel.  As the only bespoke travel exchange in the Southern Hemisphere it has become an essential forum for up to 300 exhibitors and around 350 buyers along with international media with an interest in luxury travel and the MICE market. 

“Western Australian and the Northern Territory both have a growing number of truly unique high-end travel offerings that you won't find the like of anywhere else in the world,” says Luxperience CEO, Lindy Andrews. “We're very excited they have both come on board.”  

Western Australian operator Natasha Mahar, of The Great Escape Charter Company, who are again exhibiting at Luxperience is excited too. “We look forward to attending and exhibiting at Luxperience every year, due to the high calibre of buyers and great networking opportunities provided.”  

Charles Carlow, General Manager of Wild Bush Luxury, agrees. “Bamurru Plains' particular style of Wild Bush Luxury brings an experiential edge to luxe travel in outback Australia that is a natural fit with Luxperience as a trade show.  

“As the only member of Luxury Lodges of Australia in the Top End of the Northern Territory, we are constantly seeking buyers whose clients seek to immerse themselves in the story of the bush while at the same requiring their key luxury standards and Luxperience has been successful in attracting the right buyers to showcase Australia' Luxury Lodges.”  

The Global Buyer Program established by Luxperience ensures only the world’s most exclusive travel specialists are in attendance.
