Leisure Tech Expo announces line up for London Technology Week

This Summer London will be profiled as a global tech hub but how has the leisure industry adapted in the digital age to ensure it’s keeping abreast of new trends?
Leisure Tech Expo at The O2 Arena on Tuesday 17th June, will aim to answer this question and has the leading line up of speakers for London Technology Week at leisuretechexpo.com. Leisure Tech Expo includes a key note address from global experience guru and author Joseph Pine, sessions with the founders of Eventbrite Julia and Kevin Hartz, Richard Jones Vice President of National Accounts at Groupon, business start-up expert Mike Southon, Founder of Student Beans James Eder, plus presentations from Eventbrite, Microsoft, TripAdvisor, Monitise, Cineworld and AEG who operate The O2 and is the world’s most popular music and entertainment venue.

LTE manager Emily Jane Brown told us, "Leisure Tech Expo is an interactive immersive showcase of the latest products, developments and software for the leisure sector. The aim is to help people learn how new technologies can be harnessed to help engage customers, visitors and the public, but more importantly how they can generate revenue".

Leisure Tech Expo will be showcasing various technologies including: Ginicam, 3D scanning, Augmented Reality, Google Glass, Oculus Rift, 3D printing and a special presentation from MyndPlay about how you can control films with your mind. You need to be there to see it!

Steve Sampson event director added, "We are proud that Leisure Tech Expo is a founding event of London Technology Week. There has been fantastic support from AEG, UBM, Eventbrite, Cineworld, Evosite, Ginicam and various trade organisations, including DNA the out of home electronic games association, plus a special thank you to UKTI and Sir Eric Peacock for their support”.

Tickets are currently on sale to delegates at the early bird price of £119, which includes all of the speaker sessions, a pub lunch and an invitation to the after show party hosted by the UKTI.
