TeamSport launches luxury indoor go-kart track in London’s Docklands

TeamSport go-karts
Just minutes away from the heart of the City, TeamSport, Europe’s biggest and most successful indoor go-kart operator has snapped up and revamped a thrilling new state-of-the-art track for London.  The circuit, formerly known as The Raceway Docklands, was already seriously stylish, with conference suites, restaurants and bar areas to match the swankiest hotel, but it has just been rebranded and upgraded even further.  It now offers the finest indoor racing facilities for adrenaline junkies of all ages.

This spectacular venue, only one tube stop from Canary Wharf is set to follow in the footsteps of other TeamSport circuits which regularly attract celebrities such as One Direction, Simon Cowell, Ellie Goulding, Jamie Cullum, Liam Gallagher, diver Tom Daley.

Given its massive conferencing facilities, it is a magnet for corporate days out and team building too. It’s also set to become a firm favourite for families, upmarket stag and hen parties and committed petrolheads.

The 800 metre track has long, exhilarating straights to really ratchet up the G’s, plus challenging hairpin bends and banked turns for the ultimate grand prix buzz.

A brand new fleet of high-spec 270cc LPG karts has just been delivered – and they tear round like rockets.  They can reach speeds of up to 40 miles per hour, but at just two inches off the floor can feel like twice that!

TeamSport London Docklands’ precision electronic timing systems are so advanced that every lap is recorded to an accuracy of 1/1000th of a second, with large screens and print-outs allowing drivers to compare their results against rivals – and check out technique.  Smart new racing suits and helmets are also part of the deal.  Friends, family and colleagues can take in the action from the bar or restaurant as they overlook the track.
