BAFTA 195 Piccadilly announces significant growth and appoints new Director

BAFTA 195 Piccadilly, the iconic BAFTA members’ club in London, has achieved significant growth over the past 2 years, reversing the industry trend over this period, which is widely accepted as being a very difficult trading climate.  In 2012, the venue served as a global hospitality hub for an Olympic sponsor and this success has continued to grow throughout 2013.

BAFTA 195 Piccadilly has a diverse range of media clients from the film, television and video games industries, through to the financial sector and service industries. The rate of bookings at the beginning of this year, is already showing a 20% lead on January 2013, demonstrating a very strong increase in business confidence. And with more than 50% of business coming from repeat clients, the iconic venue’s reputation for delivering outstanding customer service is stronger than ever.

This announcement comes in tandem with the appointment of Julian Shaw, formerly a Director at the Gorgeous Group, as the venue’s new Director. Shaw will formally join BAFTA 195 Piccadilly on 24 February 2014, having spent the past decade leading the Gorgeous Group’s strategic planning, product development and service delivery for a host of global clients from the world’s leading hotels and restaurants.
