Generate New York 2014 announces (mt) Media Temple and Virb as Headline Partners

Future, the international media group and leading digital business, today announces (mt) Media Temple, the premium web hosting and cloud services provider, and Virb, Media Temple-owned website builder, as headline partners for Generate New York.

Taking place at New World Stages on 20th June 2014, the inaugural Generate conference in New York, presented in association with (mt) Media Temple and Virb will focus on the very latest technical and creative innovations in the world of web creation and design.

Powered by net magazine, the world’s best-selling magazine for web designers and developers, and Creative Bloq, the UK’s most popular design site, Generate has assembled a truly stellar line-up of speakers including independent designer and developer, Ethan Marcotte, content strategist and user experience designer, Karen McGrane, and artist and designer, Brendan Dawes.

Los Angeles-based Media Temple, which provides premium web hosting and cloud services to web designers, developers, digital entrepreneurs and innovators, and Virb, a website builder offering an easy-to-use, scalable platform for makers and content creators’ craft to live and grow online, will partner on the pre- and post-event, delivering a speaker session and running a workshop.

Charlie Said, Advertising Sales Director at Future, says: "We are delighted to be partnering with (mt) Media Temple and Virb at our inaugural Generate conference in New York. They are the perfect fit for our aim of delivering a truly innovative and inspirational event.”

Lilly Crick, Events Marketing Manager at Media Temple, says: "At (mt) Media Temple and Virb, we provide creatives with platforms to host and showcase their great ideas, and help them succeed online. That's why we are particularly excited to partner with Generate NY as the conference truly creates the perfect stage to share some knowledge and best practices on how to make the web a better place, while getting inspired by some of the most brilliant minds in the web design industry."

Generate New York follows on from the successful Generate London, which took place for the first time at the Grand Connaught Rooms in September last year. The second Generate London will take place at the same venue on 26th September, with further information to be announced in due course.
