City leaders gathered this week to finalise details and offered their full support for the event that aims to attract over 5,000 delegates on Thursday 6 March. Council Leader, Andrew Geary, The Mayor of Milton Keynes, Councillor Brian White and MP, Iain Stewart, held a briefing meeting with event organiser and founder Victoria Beale.
Andrew Geary said: “The team behind the Business Expo 3.0 have done an incredible job to pull this event together and attract local, national and international businesses to Milton Keynes and promote our City as a place to do business.
It is expected that 5,000 delegates will attend the one day event and will be able to see 100 stands from small start-ups to Blue Chip companies. Among the 2014 line up of exhibitors includes: 4Networking; IKEA UK, IoD; Reisswolf as well as a strong local support from Invest MK; Milton Keynes Council; MK College and the Theatre District.
Victoria Beale, CEO of Rapid Sales Solutions LTD and founder of the Business Expo 3.0 said: “2013 was our first year and we had a fantastic turn out but we always wanted this year to be bigger and better, which we are delighted to say it is. The event is free to attend and can offer invaluable advice from leading experts from across the country, it really is a must for any business with aspirations.”
As well as exhibitors at the event, there are a number of free key notes speakers including; Kapil Dudakia, PGCE; Daniel Mouawad, Chief Executive of SEMLEP, Charlie Browne of IKEA UK, Andrew Geary, Leader of Milton Keynes Council, Stef Thomas of 4Networking and Francis Goss of Grass Roots. There are also a number of workshops from David Lock Associates; Woodfines Solicitors; Jonathan Vowels Accountants and more.
