De Vere Venues Wokefield Park, Reading, has announced the venue will play host to the Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR) annual Student Development Conference.
The event, set to take place on Thursday 13th March 2014 will see 200 student development professionals visit Wokefield Park for a mixture of learning and networking sessions, with speakers including representatives from KPMG, IBM and Microsoft amongst others. Additional highlights include a keynote address from Matthew Syed, journalist, broadcaster and author of ‘Bounce’, a book described as “a must-read for anyone interested in the science of success, and the mindset and culture that support it”.

The event is a real coup for De Vere Venues, who recently appointed Mark Bailey as ‘Director of Emerging Talent’. Mark will be working closely with businesses to provide venue solutions for graduate induction courses, assessment centre's and training space requirements.

Bailey commented; ‘’As the UK’s leading provider of conference, meeting and event space, we are extremely pleased to have been selected to host this important event which reaffirms our close working relationship with the AGR and the many organisations that use our venues across the UK for the assessment and training of apprentices, interns and graduates”.

Wokefield Park is one of De Vere Venues flagship properties, and blends the charm of a traditional mansion house with the amenities of a modern executive centre. With 376 bedrooms and 51 meeting spaces, the venue offers superb business and leisure facilities, including a 7,000-yard championship golf course. Wokefield Park is a great base to explore Berkshire and is easily accessible from the M4 and close to Reading with regular and direct trains from London, Birmingham and Bristol.
