Sustainable Events Summit ‘overwhelmed’ by increased industry support

Leading brands, event agencies, venues and suppliers have been showing real leadership in the drive for a more sustainable industry by showing their support for The Sustainable Events Summit 2014.

The Summit, due to take place on 18 February at 30 Euston Square, has been overwhelmed by the heightened level of interest from brands delivering content and attending as delegates, as well as leading event industry players agreeing to sponsor the event and exhibit their sustainable best practices.

Events agencies who have recently backed the summit as sponsors include George P Johnson, drpgroup, Smart Group, RPM and The Black Tomato Agency. Suppliers who have come onboard include XL Video, Crowdcomms and Speakers Corner. Venues who will be in attendance include The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre and The NEC.

This is in addition to the established Founding Partners of the summit who are Grass Roots, Capita Travel and Events, Sportsworld, GES, Gallowglass, and the Canada Tourism Commission.

Brands already signed up as Summit speakers include Nestlé, Hewlett Packard, Ogilvy PR, Coffee Republic, Cisco, and Innocent. More speakers and sponsors will be announced shortly.

30 Euston Square, the chosen venue for the 2014 Summit, has also received raised interest from companies looking to explore sustainable event initiatives following the announcement that the Summit would take place at the refurbished Royal College of General Practitioners.

The Sustainable Events Summit is a partnership between Smyle, Positive Impact and Sustainable Events Ltd.
