Queen Mary’s Octagon takes time out for Questions!

Queen Mary’s Octagon set for Question Time
The Grade II listed Octagon at Queen Mary has proved once again its versatility when it comes to hosting events with the return of the BBC’s Question Time for a fourth time on Thursday 5th December 2013.
Joining David Dimbleby as host were Chief Secretary to the Treasury Danny Alexander MP, Shadow Work and Pensions Secretary Rachel Reeves MP, Former Home Secretary David Davis MP, Professor of Classics Dr. Mary Beard and Broadcaster Nick Ferrari.

The listed Octagon is a triple height flexible flat floored events space and the former library of Queen Mary, featuring a large open floor with leather clad books over two levels underneath a domed ceiling with busts of famous literati looking down to keep an eye on proceedings.

Sue Mussett, Business Development Manager for QM’s hospitality brand, Events & Hospitality QM comments ‘It is an honour and privilege to welcome BBC Question Time back for a fourth time, this is evidence of our industry reputation for success when it comes to hosting prestigious events and reflects our emphasis on ensuring we work in partnership with those using our facilities.’

Events & Hospitality QM offers over 100 event spaces at the Mile End campus of Queen Mary, alongside facilities in the City of London and Whitechapel.
