LSO St Luke’s invests over £375,000 in AV, Wi-Fi and building improvements

LSO St Luke’s has made a significant investment in technology. Funded primarily by a grant from the Arts Council England, the London Symphony Orchestra has undertaken to upgrade Wi-Fi and other technical equipment at its stunning Grade I listed venue.

The award of approximately £375,290 will ensure LSO St Luke's remains at the cutting edge of digital and production innovation. Improvements to the Centre's equipment and facilities will provide clients, visitors and project participants with the highest quality experience.

Following the upgrade, clients can benefit from connection speeds of up to 270Mbps as well as a personalised landing page for their event, which can be used for invaluable data capture.

Victoria Steinitz, Sales and Marketing Manager at LSO St Luke’s, says: “Investing in our infrastructure will allow us to continue to provide a first-class service. The grant from the Arts Council will ensure we keep ahead of the increasing demand for more integrated events, including those that need high-speed connectivityfor live streaming. Our in-house technicians are experienced in providing high-quality sound and lighting for all types of events and work closely with clients to advise them on how to get the most from their resources.”

A contemporary and flexible venue just yards from the fast-growing “tech hub” on Old Street, LSO St Luke’s is guaranteed to provide an inspirational setting for a wide variety of events including conferences, receptions, awards ceremonies and gala dinners.
