Chic Outlet Shopping® announces new luxury products and services

The Collection of Chic Outlet Shopping® Villages by Value Retail in Europe is launching an exciting new digital app, new VIP Lounges and new Shopping Packages for the luxury-seeking traveller looking for great value.
To enhance the luxury shopping experience, VIP Lounges are being rolled out across the Collection of Villages. VIP Lounges are now open at Maasmechelen Village near Brussels, Kildare Village near Dublin and Ingolstadt Village near Munich. With the opening of VIP Lounges in Wertheim Village near Frankfurt and Fidenza Village near Milan by the end of the year, there will be a VIP facility available to guests, who are looking for that extra special shopping experience, in each of the nine European Villages.


The facilities provide a dedicated space for a VIP shopping experience for a group of friends or employees. All of the rooms contain luxurious, comfortable furniture and have stylish décor. Food and beverages can be served to VIP guests in the room and it can be used as a hub for a group’s shopping experience, with people coming and going as they please and returning for nourishment and relaxation. The Lounges also lend themselves to being used for personal stylist sessions. Guests to the Villages can also take advantage of an entire range of other hospitality services including Tourist Information Centres, multilingual hosts, chauffeured transport, Hands-free Shopping, personal shoppers and valet parking, all aimed at making the experience in the Villages as luxurious as possible.  

Chic Outlet Shopping® is also launching a number of exciting new great value Shopping Packages, which offer savings compared with the price of purchasing the elements of the package separately. Luxury-seeking fashion lovers can plan their trip to the Village in advance and save money by doing so.

At Fidenza Village near Milan, new Shopping Packages include the 'Shopping & Museo Teatrale alla Scala Experience' which includes a transfer from Milan with the Shopping Express® luxury coach service and shopping in the more than 100 boutiques of world-famous fashion and lifestyle brands at the Village and entry to the Museo Teatrale alla Scala, home to the most important collection of paintings, statues and costumes regarding the magnificent La Scala Opera House of Milan.

Other recently launched new Shopping Packages include the ‘Shopping & Wellness’ package, which combines a transfer on the Shopping Express® luxury coach service with a voucher for a wellness experience at state-of-the-art spa, QC Terme Milan, in the centre of Milan. The package costs €49.

Wertheim Village near Frankfurt, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary, and Ingolstadt Village near Munich are offering the limited-edition ‘Ten Years Ten Benefits’ Shopping Package. The Shopping Package is for two people and includes return tickets on the Shopping Express® luxury coach service from the centre of Munich to Ingolstadt Village or from Frankfurt to Wertheim Village or a VIP parking space for those preferring to drive themselves to the Villages, a €100 Gift Card, a VIP Card on arrival at the Village – which provides a further 10% saving at participating boutiques in the Village, two ‘bite boxes’, a bottle of wine, two-course meal for two people in the Village, a glass of Prosecco each, two sparkling wine glasses, two Village chocolates and two exclusive gifts. It costs €149 per couple at Wertheim Village and €159 per couple at Ingolstadt Village with the Shopping Express® luxury coach service included, or €129 per couple at both Villages for the package including a VIP parking space. This offers a saving of €50 per package compared with if the components of the package were booked separately.

Other new Shopping Packages include the ‘Shopping Express® & Flamenco Shopping Package’ for which Las Rozas Village near Madrid and Café de Chinitas have come together to offer an exciting day of shopping combined with a flamenco show. The package includes a return ticket on the Shopping Express® luxury coach service from the centre of Madrid to Las Rozas Village, a VIP Card for an additional 10% saving in participating boutiques and a flamenco show with dinner. The cost of the Shopping Package is €70 per adult and €46 per child.

Launched yesterday, the new Chic Outlet Shopping® digital app is the essential companion to the luxury outlet shopping experience and promises to make the luxury outlet shopping experience more seamless than ever before – bringing the best of the Chic Outlet Shopping® Villages straight to guests’ fingertips.

For the first time, guests can browse the Collection of Chic Outlet Shopping® Villages in eight languages directly from their mobile devices. Packed full of innovative new features, guests can search their favourite boutiques, plan their visit, view interactive maps and discover exclusive offers and promotions. International visitors can take advantage of new features including a tax free calculator, currency converter and international sizing chart. What’s more, guests can download the app for free using the complimentary, high-speed Wi-Fi available in the Villages today.

Ian Stazicker, Tourism Director – Global Marketing for Value Retail says the new services and products are aimed to enhance the guest experience and provide great value for money luxury: “Our international visitors treat the Villages as tourism destinations for a day out and are looking for a unique and authentic experience and the best customer service. The digital app, Shopping Packages and services including the VIP rooms help them to make the most of their visit. These are just some of the many exciting new products and services, which will launch across the Collection of nine Villages by the end of this tenth anniversary year and into 2014”.

In addition to the public being able to buy the packages, the tourism industry is being offered, on average, 10% commission on the net price of Chic Outlet Shopping® products and packages. The online booking platform, Chic Travel Portal, which was launched earlier this year, enables the travel trade and MICE market to create and purchase bespoke travel itineraries featuring local partners as well as Chic Outlet Shopping® products.
