The Ascott Limited introduces new Global Sales Team

The Ascott Limited’s recent drinks reception held at Tower Bridge Walkways introduced its new global sales team to loyal and new customers, to celebrate the successful launch of its new luxury Suites label within the Citadines brand and to advise details of expansion and refurbishment programmes.
Ascott also celebrated its continued global success by giving away 14 accommodation prizes.

The Ascott Limited (Ascott), the world’s largest global serviced residence company with a three-brand portfolio (Ascott The Residence, Citadines Apart’hotel, Somerset Serviced Residence) operates more than 200 properties across 82 cities and 22 countries throughout Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Gulf Region.  

Expansion in Europe between 2012 and 2013
• In 2012 Ascott acquired The Cavendish London and continues to operate the iconic property as an hotel.
• In 2013 Ascott launched a new luxury Suites label to complement Citadines’ existing Prestige and Apart’hotel labels and to offer guests greater choice and flexibility. 
• In 2014 Ascott will increase its portfolio in Germany by opening residences in Frankfurt and Hamburg.
• For 2015 Ascott is on track to achieve its target of 40,000 apartment units by the end of the year.  

Upgrades in Europe between 2012 and 2013

Between 2012 and 2013, a total of 18 residences have been upgraded as follows:
UNITED KINGDOM: o   Citadines Prestige Trafalgar Square London, UK

o   Citadines Sainte-Catherine Brussels, Belgium
o   Citadines Toison d’Or Brussels, Belgium

o   Citadines Croisette Cannes, France
o   Citadines City Centre Grenoble, France
o   Citadines City Centre Lille, France
o   Citadines Part-Dieu Lyon, France
o   Citadines Suites Louvre Paris, France – launched as the first Citadines Suites label
o   Citadines Opéra-Grands Boulevards Paris, France
o   Citadines Place d’Italie Paris, France
o   Citadines Presqu’île Lyon, France

o   Citadines Kurfürstendamm Berlin, Germany

o    Citadines Ramblas Barcelona, on completion becomes a Citadines Prestige residence

These upgrades are a significant part of Ascott’s major renovation programme, started in 2010, and representing a total investment of €49.3 million.
