Is the Force with you? Auditions for the next Star Wars film are confirmed to take place this weekend at Emirates Old Trafford, the home of Lancashire County Cricket Club.
On Saturday and Sunday November 16 and 17, a casting agency will be looking for men aged between 19 and 23 and female actors aged 17 to 18 to potentially star in the upcoming Lucasfilm movie which is confirmed to be filmed at the world famous Pinewood Studios in London.

Emirates Old Trafford's state-of-the art Pavilion will hold the casting sessions, which will take place between 11am and 3pm.

Please be aware that there is no provision being made for overnight queuing and the gates to the venue will not be opened until 6am.

LCCC Chief Executive Daniel Gidney said: "We are delighted that Emirates Old Trafford has been chosen to hold the auditions for such a fantastic film franchise.

“We offer bespoke conference, exhibition and meeting space which is suitable for a multitude of events." “We wish all those taking part in the auditions the best of luck and may the Force be with them!"

The ground also boasts plenty of car parking for those visiting over the weekend with spaces available on both days at £5 per space all day and also limited spaces for small starships if booked in advance. There will also be food and refreshments available to purchase on site.
