Broadcasting and technology show returns to Manchester

The North of England’s major broadcasting and technology event returns to Manchester Central this week, continuing the city’s growth as an international broadcasting hub.
BVE (Broadcast Video Expo) North will see over 1,000 established media professionals visit Manchester Central on 12-13 November.

Now in its third year at the North of England’s leading exhibition venue, the two-day event will feature industry-leading exhibitors as well as speakers from BBC North, True North and BBC Scotland.

Angie Robinson, Chief Executive of Manchester Central, said: “We’re really proud to be hosting this event for the third year running. It showcases how Manchester is continuing to develop as an international media hub.”

James Rowley-Ashwood, Event Director of BVE North, said: “The calibre of speakers and exhibitors that BVE North has attracted serves to underline Manchester’s growing importance as a broadcasting centre. Visitors to the show will learn global truths and be able to implement them locally as this key region continues to develop.”

BVE North is the only event outside of London where visitors can meet such a strong group of exhibitors under one roof as well as find out about brand new products and gain free advice on career development from the Skills Zone.
