Center Parcs reports 44 per cent rise in retail bookings

Center Parcs has seen a 44 per cent increase in retail volume for meetings and events bookings in the first six months from April 1 to October 31 2013, compared to the same period in the previous year.

Sherwood Forest received the most interest, with 50 per cent of enquiries converted into confirmed bookings from last year, suggesting Center Parcs remains a destination of choice among retail customers.

In the first half of the financial year, Center Parcs played host to annual corporate events for FMCG multinational retail brands including Fat Face and Sainsbury’s.

Ian Williams, brand and shoot production manager at Fat Face, Ltd said: “A massive thanks to Center Parcs and the team at Longleat for making our time there so effective. It was a great venue for our size and requirements and the accommodation was very well received. We have had exceptional feedback from our delegates about the event right down to the style and layout of the evening function.”
