A roster of industry experts to speak at the Conference Summit 2013

A roster of experts from the events and conference industry are to speak at this year’s Conference Summit, hosted by the Global Conference Network on 6 December in London.
Since 2011, the annual event has addressed the critical issues facing the conference industry, bringing together senior professionals to debate and discuss the challenges of today’s market. The all-day event will also include presentations, panel debates and round table discussions.

This year will see experts including: Giles Cummings, divisional director at i2i Events Group; Fiona Miller, conference director at EMAP; Piers Bearne, chairman and co-founder of Global Transport Forum and Global Financial Conferences.

Guest speakers will be joining the Summit’s debates which will cover topics surrounding: ‘Is the paying delegate in terminal decline? Alternative models to meet these challenges’ and 'The convergence of large scale events (LSEs) & exhibitions and the implications on the event industry as a whole.'

Claire Wormsley, Managing Director of the Global Conference Network, said: “We are delighted to have such key industry figures speak at our event. The Conference Summit will take place on 6 December at etc.venues’ Dexter House, London.
