Tourism New Zealand reinforces major investment focused on premium travellers to New Zealand

Tourism New Zealand will invest an additional $20 million New Zealand Dollars over four years in attracting premium travellers to New Zealand, says Regional Manager UK & Europe, Danielle Genty-Nott.

Tourism New Zealand last night provided key travel partners with an update on its plans for the region at an event at in the Penthouse at London’s New Zealand House, Haymarket.

The event was attended by New Zealand’s Prime Minister, Rt Hon. John Key who is also the Minister of Tourism.

Around 60 guests from the UK premium trade heard how Tourism New Zealand will invest a portion of these funds in the UK market, to attract premium travellers looking to enjoy world-class lodges, food and wine and New Zealand culture.

To complement its luxury strategy in this region, Tourism New Zealand is strongly supported by an ever increasing attendance of New Zealand luxury operators at events such as Pure Life, the premium travel trade show in Marrakech, ILTM Cannes and the Monaco Yacht Show.
