ZSL London Zoo to host its first preview for event bookers since opening its stunning new Terrace Restaurant and event spaceOn Wednesday 11th September ZSL London Zoo will open its doors to event bookers for a private viewing – the first such event since the Zoo invested £4.6m to create its new Terrace Restaurant and events facility.
Housed in the Zoo’s historic Regents Building, the visually stunning new space features a double height 40ft ceiling and is overlooked by a beautiful mezzanine level that leads onto an upper terrace deck designed to afford unique views across the Zoo.
Other existing and much-loved facilities will also be showcased - including recently opened Tiger Territory and the historic Mappin Pavilion - across the Zoo’s stunning 36 acre central London site. Comfortable shoes are recommended for would-be Indiana Jones types, while animal print dress code is optional for those who prefer Jane’s fashion sense over Tarzan’s.
Starting at 6pm and running for three hours, bookers will have drinks with the tigers, watch Penguin beach Live! and then tour the Zoo’s facilities. The ZSL London Zoo Events & Hospitality team will show off the various event spaces and packages available for both corporate and private events. Food and drink will be provided throughout the evening by award-winning on site caterers Ampersand.
ZSL Sales Manager Kate Gibson said: “This is a chance for event bookers to show their wild side – while still working pretty hard. Expect a few surprise visitors from the other side of the animal enclosures too…”
