Event spaces for all occasions at the Home of Cricket

Marylebone Cricket Club event space
Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) – owners of Lord’s, the spiritual Home of Cricket – is encouraging event planners to book one of the most exclusive spaces in the game; the Committee Dining Room positioned on the top floor of the revered Grade II listed Lord’s Pavilion.

Decorated with photographs of former MCC Presidents and curios from the Club’s unparalleled cricketing collection, and with a balcony overlooking the famous “hallowed turf”, the Committee Dining Room represents an iconic and unique event space.

Parties of 20 to 60 guests can be accommodated for lunches, dinners and canapé receptions, with event organisers able to choose a bespoke menu from a varied selection of seasonal dishes created by the critically acclaimed chefs at Lord’s. Traditional favourites include venison pie, beef wellington, and rhubarb and custard crumble, alongside an extensive selection of vegetarian options. Diverse pre-dinner canapé menus are also available.

Nick Kenton, Head of Sales for Meetings & Events and Hospitality at Lord’s Cricket Ground, said: “You don’t need to be a huge cricket fan to be able to appreciate the historical importance of the Committee Dining Room, and we want more companies to have access to what I’m sure will become a very popular choice for planners and guests alike.”
