The Business Travel Club and HSMAI Europe join forces for The Hotel RFP Exchange Forum

The Business Travel Club, an initiative by the Business Travel Show, and HSMAI Europe today announced a joint event, The Hotel RFP Exchange Forum. The event, which takes place in London on 8 October, provides a forum for all players involved in the annual hotel RFP sector to keep up to date with the latest issues, initiatives and developments.

ngunn Hofseth, president HSMAI Europe, said, “HSMAI Europe is committed to providing the hospitality industry with opportunities to develop new business, grow knowledge and network in a relevant and focused environment. By bringing all players together, The RFP Exchange Forum offers an essential opportunity for dialogue and business development within the RFP season."

David Chapple, event director, Business Travel Show and founder of the Business Travel Club, added, “Issues in the RFP process can remain largely unsolved from one year to the next simply because they are forgotten until the RFP season comes round again, by which time it’s too late. The Hotel RFP Exchange Forum is unique in that it offers a forum for all players in the RFP sector to review the current RFP season whilst it’s still front of mind, and put in place initiatives to resolve any issues.”

The Hotel RFP Exchange Forum provides an opportunity for travel buyers, hotel suppliers and key RFP solutions providers to connect , network and do business within one event and takes place in London at the Bloomsbury Hotel on 8 October 2013. Travel buyers are invited to attend for free.

The event will feature educational sessions addressing the challenges in corporate travel management, and a panel of technology solutions providers offering their take on the future of the RFP process and the role that technology will provide. The event also provides an opportunity for hoteliers to meet with buyers in a structured networking format.
