IFEMA has announced the fourteenth edition of VETECO, the International Window, Curtain Walls and Structural Glass Trade Show, within the framework of the 1st International Construction Week for Efficient Construction and Renovation (SICRE), sharing the stage (FERIA DE MADRID) and dates (7 to 10 May 2014) with the new Sustainable Construction Solutions International Show (SCS).

Under the umbrella of the 1st International Construction Week for Efficient Construction and Renovation (SICRE), which includes the solutions provided by the exhibitors at VETECO and SCS, both trade shows will be involved in a large media campaign, in the tours and guides on efficient buildings and in the other initiatives that will be implemented.

In this way, VETECO, which has reinforced its position as one of Europe's leading window, curtain walls and structural glass trade shows and is, in fact, the benchmark trade fair for the Iberian market, representing a very competitive Spanish industry, will provide its experience while joining forces with SCS, with which it will have evident synergy, to provide a comprehensive solution for the efficient construction and renovation sector.

VETECO will take on a new trade fair concept, focusing on becoming the most profitable comprehensive trade tool so that the participating companies can maximise the return on their investment, thus helping to revitalise the sector, while raising the demand's awareness to boost this reactivation.

Demand is precisely one of the trade show's main objectives, which seeks to expand the profile of its professional visitors, including hotels, stores, estate managers, offices, business headquarters, hospitals, schools, etc. without forgetting the traditional ones.

A professional group that will have access to the largest and latest offering of windows and lightweight façades, skylights, automatic systems, solar protection, coatings, glass and related industry, and machinery.

VETECO presents itself as an advisor, providing clients with a trade fair tailored to their needs and very accessible, which will enable them to access a large group of services: channels for providing announcements (banners, etc.), customised communication plans, adapted sectorisation (Spain Xport Building), a programme for invited foreign buyers, with personal meetings and an international promotion plan, etc.

Boosting the international positioning of VETECO, which is already strong in the international trade fair ranking, is precisely one of its main objectives. In this edition, the focus will be on the programme for the carefully selected foreign buyers who have a decisive purchasing power (managing and funding their trips), so that the companies that so wish can establish a customised meeting agenda. These buyers have been selected based on the interests of the sector and the companies, in accordance with the most attractive markets: the European Union, Latin America, Mediterranean Area and Middle East.

Moreover, VETECO also plans to provide hotel stays to certain Spanish professionals. All these actions are aimed at ensuring large demand.

The companies will be able to make presentations in the stalls and other demonstration areas, which will be provided in the pavilions. These areas will be in addition to the programme for professional encounters, which will be carried out in parallel to the commercial activity and includes the veteran VETECO ASEFAVE Awards to honour the industry's innovation capacity, as well as the equally successful Innovation Gallery; plus others that form part of the SICRE such as the Smart Cities Congress, the International Construction Congress, the Renovation Forum, the Latin American Congress of Facility Managers and the Nearly Zero Energy Buildings Congress, all of them within the framework of the International Construction Week for Efficient Construction and Renovation (SICRE).

Furthermore, VETECO will provide an area called Spain Xport Window, so that Spanish companies, with a clear export vocation, can present their solutions.

Finally, VETECO will also participate in the SICRE'S campaign aimed at raising social awareness about the importance of efficient construction and renovation, which will be carried out in the week before the trade show, with initiatives such as dressing Madrid with "efficient renovation" and organising tours of efficient buildings, among other actions.
