Traverse Travel Bloggers event to be held in NewcastleGateshead

Sarah Stewart, chief executive of destination management and marketing organisation NewcastleGateshead Initiative, said: “The opportunity to host Traverse 14 is truly exciting. Not only is it testament to our credentials as a conference and events destination, but evidence that NewcastleGateshead is a dynamic place with a vibrant and famously friendly personality that is a constant draw for city-breakers. We can’t wait to welcome traverse and the many travel bloggers set to descend in February 2014.”

Michael Ball from Traverse said: “After recovering from the fun and learning overdose of Traverse 13 in Brighton, we soon realised that due to the huge positive feedback from attendees that we'd need a master plan for Traverse 14. For 2014 we were looking for a place to inspire creativity, energy, learning, plus a place with a bucket load of fun. After considering cities from across the UK we're delighted to announce that Traverse 14 will be held in the fantastic city of NewcastleGateshead, on the 22nd February 2014.”
