NFL choose The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre for media round table event

Ben Roethlisberger, big ben
The National Football League (NFL) held a media round table event at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (QEIICC) on Tuesday 2nd July to promote Quaterback Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The venue was chosen due to its close proximity to the Houses of Parliament; Ben Roethlisberger is also known as ‘Big Ben’ and was photographed and filmed on Parliament Square in-front of the iconic landmark that inspired his nick name. A round table event for invited journalists was then held at the nearby QEIICC.

Sue Etherington, Commercial Director, The QEIICC said: “Organisers often forget that we have a range of smaller meeting rooms and a media suite that can be hired for intimate briefings, training sessions and meetings. So we were pleased that the NFL selected us for this small, but prestigious press event”

The Pittsburgh Steelers will play the Minnesota Vikings at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 29th September.
