Copenhagen hosts M&I Forum Europe Spring 2013

Efficient speed-dating, combined with extensive networking activities including boat and biking tours and dinners at some of the city’s most exclusive venues, are on offer to the 360 clients attending Copenhagen’s first ever ‘Meeting & Incentive Forum’, arranged this week by World Wide Events, VisitDenmark, Wonderful Copenhagen CVB and a broad range of represents from the city’s meetings industry..

At Meeting & Incentive Forum Europe Spring, more than 275 meeting industry suppliers from all over Europe will meet leading buyers in an environment tailored for efficiency and ease of doing business. This will be the first time that Copenhagen has hosted this prestigious event, running this week from Tuesday to Saturday.

The Meeting & Incentive Forum Europe Spring will take place at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, one of Copenhagen’s largest convention hotels, located only a few minutes from Copenhagen's City Hall Square. During the event, each of the exhibiting industry suppliers will take part in up to 50 individual speed-dates with carefully selected buyers.

Treasure hunt and beer tastings
The attending buyers, as well as the exhibiting suppliers, will also have time to see and experience Copenhagen. In partnership with ICS – a local congress organiser and destination management company - Wonderful Copenhagen CVB has arranged for a number of teambuilding activities, including biking treasure hunts, canal boat tours, a visit to the Carlsberg Brewery and walking tours of the Copenhagen “Free Town” of Christiania.

“It’s a tremendous honour for Copenhagen to host Meeting & Incentive Forum Europe Spring. Over the past years we have hosted several meeting industry events but this will be largest to date in terms of participating clients. Our partners from the meeting industry in Copenhagen have provided great support. I’m confident we will have a successful event and that Copenhagen will benefit from hosting it,” says Steen Jakobsen, Director of Wonderful Copenhagen Convention Bureau.

The four dinners will be hosted by Toldboden, Tivoli Congress Center, Axelborg and Docken.
