Historically renowned as the alpine capital of international Top Events, from June to September Gstaad plays host to a wide range of activities, many of which showcase the authentic nature of the region.

Proudly preserved, Gstaad still retains a cosy mountain village atmosphere and visitors can feel authentically Swiss by experiencing traditional activities, such as cattle auctions, Alpine running and Swiss cheese tasting. Meanwhile, as tennis fever picks up in the UK, get tickets for ‘Wimbledon in the Alps’ or to experience the beach in the mountains, why not time your visit with the beach volleyball world tour.

From Classical to Country – Musical Events
From 18 July - 7 September, Gstaad hosts the famous Menuhin Festival. Established in 1956 by Yehudi Menuhin to enhance Gstaad’s summer season with classical concerts, this year the festival welcomes international musicians such as ‘the poet of violin’, Joshua Bell and pianist extraordinaire Sebastian Knauer.

From 20 – 22 September, country music fever will grip Gstaad for Country Night - considered Europe's leading Country & Western music event and celebrating its 25th year.  Vince Gill will take to the stage to entertain crowds with a series of concerts and jamming sessions.
