The Brighton Centre looks forward to a sustainable events future

The Brighton Centre is hosting 'Sustainable Events: The Future and You' on Wednesday 5th June. This special one-day forum is designed to provide conference and exhibition organisers with the opportunity to share insights, experiences and learn best practice on how to plan and run and event which minimises impact on the environment at the same time as generating greater excitement, better audience engagement and improved value for money.

Taking place at the Brighton Centre, this unique day will feature stimulating talks, roundtable discussions and workshops, involving leading sustainability experts from the events industry and the City of Brighton & Hove.

“As a venue we appreciate the special challenges facing organisers trying to create and manage more sustainable events,” says Howard Barden, General Manager of the Brighton Centre. “This day will provide organisers with a platform to really get to grips with the issues and what a sustainable event means in practice for you, your events and our industry. Those attending will be able to learn how such an event can significantly reduce cost, improve the delegate experience and help the environment.”

The Brighton Centre is hosting “The Future of Sustainable Events” in partnership with conference technology experts AVT Connect and award-winning event caterers, Kudos. Following an extensive £1million refurbishment to its facilities, The Brighton Centre is the ideal venue for this event, having been effectively ‘upcycled’ to meet the needs of today’s event organiser.

The event will take place from 10.30am to 2.00pm and will include lunch in the stunning setting of The Brighton Centre’s recently opened third floor restaurant.
