No.11 Cavendish Square completes £250,000 refurbishment of 10 meeting rooms

No.11 Cavendish Square
No.11 Cavendish Square has completed a £250,000 refurbishment of 10 meeting rooms including the Edwards Room, Marlborough and Maynard Theatre with adjoining break out rooms. The rooms have been re-painted, the floor re-carpeted and new blinds added. Contemporary stills of iconic London scenes including the Shard, the London Eye and St Paul’s Cathedral now adorn the walls. One wall in each of the meeting rooms is magnetised allowing for free standing magnetic flip charts to be added on request. Low wattage lighting and energy saving LCD panels have also been fitted in each room.

Jonathan Morris, Commercial Director, No.11 Cavendish Square said: “The latest refurbishment is the third phase of venue development at No.11 Cavendish Square. Over the last two years we’ve transformed our conservatory into an Orangery, and inspired by our courtyard garden and period features we have brought the outside in creating a Garden Room. Our aim is to make No.11 Cavendish Square a versatile events and conference venue which fulfils the needs of today’s organiser.”

Each room has also benefitted from an AV upgrade which includes state of the art slim line 55inch LCD monitors with wall mounted sound bars which provide high quality, easy to adjust audio. This means no more clumsy data projectors and screens. Clients connect directly to a floor box for user friendly, slick presentations.

The Orangery now boasts multi-colour LED lighting throughout which can be used to colour match a brand or theme. The lighting can be controlled from an iPad or via a wall mounted control panel. Further refurbishment is planned for back of house including the kitchen to make the service at events more efficient.
