Travelport and Rail Europe unveil enriched ticketing solution

Travelport, a leading provider of critical transaction processing solutions and data for the global travel industry, and Rail Europe, a leading provider of European rail tickets, have today launched a technological solution enabling travel agents to print train tickets on value paper (watermarked paper), in A4 format. With the new enhanced ticketing solution, Travelport-connected travel agencies in the UK no longer require specific bespoke printers as all rail tickets and passes (other than Eurostar group tickets) can now be printed on value paper with standard laserjet desktop printers.
