Lumi connects the icons and the influencers at World Business Forum 2016, Sydney

An application from Lumi, the global leader in audience insight technology, helped over 2,000 delegates at the recent World Business Forum 2016 in Sydney connect with other attendees, interact with speakers and maximise the value of their time at the event, all from their own mobile phones.
Lumi Show, a complete mobile event and conference app provided delegates with all the information needed to optimise their attendance, including searchable attendee lists, event agenda, speaker biographies and maps. They could also directly question business icons such as Richard Branson, Robert Kaplan and Tamara Erickson through the app during their speaker sessions

The World Business Forum is a meeting of global business leaders and influencers who come together to discuss the issues trends shaping the future. The theme this year was the Story Makers.

“The Lumi app contributed to the success of the event ensuring our delegates could make the most of their time investment throughout the two days, including the popular live speaker Q&A feature.  It also provided us with quality attendee insight and data on their views and experiences, enabling us to have deeper learnings of our delegates and the event,” says Hayden Jeffreys, Marketing Manager of the World Business Forum Sydney.

“We’re delighted to have sponsored the forum again this year,” says Oliver Bampfield, Managing Dierector, Lumi. “We believe it was a blueprint for many more such events in the future, where delegates are more connected and more interactive and, as a result, the event more dynamic and meaningful.”
