Cvent drives sales efficiency with new Proposal Assistant for MICE Business RFPs

New capabilities within Cvent Lead Scoring solution automate previously manual processes 
Cvent has announced Proposal Assistant – new capabilities within it’s Lead Scoring solution – that help hoteliers drive more MICE revenue through smart automation and competitive insights.

Proposal Assistant, available later this summer to hotels and venues currently using Cvent Lead Scoring, offers enhanced automation functionality to help streamline the process of responding to requests for proposals (RFPs). Proposal Assistant eliminates much of the manual work needed to respond to an RFP, saving hotel sales teams valuable time and allowing them to direct their efforts towards closing more deals.

“Planners continue to move away from manual RFP processes to online eRFPs, which has led to a significant increase in RFP volume,” said Pete Floros, senior vice president of product management for Cvent Hospitality Cloud. “Hotel chains using our existing Lead Scoring solution are finding it much easier to quickly qualify and prioritise leads, but are still spending too much time filling out dates, rates, and meeting space information in their RFP responses. Proposal Assistant takes care of all of that. In many cases, the hotels that are the quickest to respond are the ones that close the deal. Proposal Assistant is going to allow hotels to compete for that first response and grow their group business.”

Proposal Assistant will be available to all Cvent Hospitality Cloud customers using its Lead Scoring solution in August 2019.
