Show information now shareable with latest HKCEC app

The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) has introduced its new HKCEC Android app, which is downloadable free of charge. This initiative, launched in July 2012 following the successful introduction of the HKCEC iPhone app last year, is designed to reach an even wider group of smartphone users.

This latest version of the HKCEC app allows users to share some information, such as Event Calendar and restaurant details, instantly via email or social media channels.

The user-friendly app also provides the latest news about the HKCEC, along with comprehensive information, all in English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. The most popular feature of the app is the “Event Calendar”, which allows users to search details of all major upcoming exhibitions, conferences and special events at the HKCEC.

Other functions, such as “Where to Eat” and “Floor Plan”, provide handy guides for users wanting information about restaurants at the HKCEC or an overview of the HKCEC facilities at a glance.


Overseas visitors can use the “Transportation” function to get directions to the HKCEC from key locations, along with estimated travelling times and fares. Other useful functions include “Announcements”, “About HKCEC”, “My Tools”, “Tips”, and “Contact Us”.

Smartphone users can download the HKCEC app free of charge by visiting Google Play and entering the keywords “HKCEC” or “Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre”.
