Timista, a new web app, is one solution for visitors that need some guidance when it comes to planning what to do in their spare time. Visitors can be sure that they'll be able to experience the best of London's nightlife and tourist attractions – even if they've never been to the city before – just by letting Timista do all the hard work for them.
Like a digital Miss Moneypenny, Timista can suggest a full plan of activities in just a matter of moments by drawing on information about thousands of London's pubs and bars, restaurants, music concerts, events, theatres and cinemas. All users need to do is specify when they want to go out, which district of London they're in, and how many people will be in their party.
They can then fine-tune the results that Timista shows, with approximate pricing details of each potential plan of activities clearly displayed. Users will only be shown events with availability – nothing that is already sold out will appear – and they can click on the event to access booking information. All of the events suggested in the plan will be in close proximity, so users don't need to worry about battling their way from one side of the city to the other to get from dinner to the theatre, for example.
Timista.com is built around HTML5 and is a fully responsive website that is designed to work perfectly on all devices, whether a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone. The iPhone version, for example, looks and behaves like a native iPhone app, though doesn't require any download or installation.
