Guidebook provides mobile app for AMOSSHE national conference

Delegates at the annual AMOSSHE National Conference were able to use a Guidebook app for the first time to access relevant information
University student services organisation, AMOSSHE used a mobile app created by Guidebook for the first time to deliver information to delegates at its national conference, which took place in Glasgow from 6th to 8th July 2016.
Breaking Boundaries, the AMOSSHE national conference 2016, aims to inspire Student Services leaders to reach beyond the boundaries, develop current success and discover new potential. Key note speakers included leading figures in the education and public sector including Baroness Doreen Lawrence of Clarendon, OBE.

The Guidebook app, specifically tailored for the event which was held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow, helped the conference’s 200 delegates access all the information they needed to know about the three-day event, from finding their way around to accessing the extensive range of educational sessions, interactive workshops and keynote speeches.

John Bloomfield, Executive Director of AMOSSHE comments: “We were delighted with how the mobile app provided by Guidebook assisted delegates at our annual conference, Breaking Boundaries. With such an extensive range of sessions and workshops taking place throughout the three days of the event, Guidebook’s app made it so much easier for delegates to easily access the events they were interested in attending, find their way around, find out information about the conference and more.”

Wayne Morris, Vice-President, International at Guidebook, explains: “AMOSSHE appointed Guidebook after they heard about our experience in providing elegant and easy-to-use campus guides for universities. For the AMOSSHE conference, the aim was to make delegates’ lives easier by providing all the information they need in one simple, easy-to-navigate app.”
