Telegraph Events and Eventbrite announce ticketing partnership

Eventbrite has agreed a ticketing partnership with one of the UK’s fastest growing events companies, Telegraph Events. Eventbrite will provide a branded solution for all ticketed events across the company’s consumer and business portfolio.

Telegraph Events has grown from five events in 2013 to 32 this year. Its events range from large scale consumer shows (including the London Bike Show and The Telegraph Ski and Snowboard Show) to intimate, high-end experiences through Telegraph Bespoke and market leading conferences.

Telegraph Events’ Managing Director, Damian Norman said: “Our research tells us that 80% of people are more likely to buy if they have had face-to-face contact. This explains the rise and success of events, brand experiences and consumer shows. Our first event was the 1973 Ski and Snowboard Show and today we create everything from experiential marketing to money can’t buy experiences and high octane consumer shows which regularly attract over 50,000 attendees. We needed a ticketing solution that could scale up, or down, according to the type of event; but still offer us consistent access to data regardless, as well as must-have essentials such as mobile ticketing and solid entry management and we found it in Eventbrite.”

Founded ten years ago, to bring professional ticketing technology to events of all types and sizes, Eventbrite today processes around two million tickets a week. It is used by all types of event organisers; individuals, promoters, major festivals, businesses and venues.

Eventbrite’s General Manager in the UK and Ireland, Joel Crouch added: “We’re delighted to be working with the team at Telegraph Events and pleased that such an established events company has chosen to use our platform. I’m confident they will benefit from our best-in-class offering for events organisers and attendees alike: sales and analysis across multiple channels – web, mobile, point of sale and a growing distribution platform, and a seamless mobile ticketing purchase and check-in experience.”
