This growth suggest users are not just better at surveying the market via their mobiles, but are increasingly using their phones to book and pay for flights. Today, 60 % of momondo’s users have app as a touch point on their user journey.
To meet the demands of this increasingly mobile audience, momondo now rolls out new updates to its flights and hotels app, available on iOS and later on Android. The refreshed app includes improvements to user interface, design and functionality, together with the introduction of new interactions, overhauling the whole user experience. ￼
With a cleaner layout and new swiping functionality, the innovative digital experience is structured around the user. Users can start and pick-up where they left off in the app during any search and even sign up to momondo via the app for a more personal experience, logging preferences. Plus, the app now provides more tailored and targeted flight and hotel searches, with enhanced filter options such as Flight alliances, maximum travel times and hotel chains.

The update is the first major change to the app’s design since 2014, and it´s changing the face of momondo as an app.
