momondo ClickTwo Travel: placing the whole world two clicks away

Travel search site, momondo, launches ClickTwo Travel - a new free Chrome extension that turns every website into a flight search opportunity. Simply double-click on a place name, and a flight to that place appears.
Most travel searches start with destination inspiration in non-travel related content such as blogs, social media and news articles.

With ClickTwo Travel, travel search site momondo links the source of inspiration and the search process in just two clicks. This allows an increasingly impulsive traveller to act more easily on inspiring content.

Commenting on momondo ClickTwo Travel, Rob Doubal from McCann London, momondo’s innovation partner, said: “momondo has helped bring more of the world in reach of more people. With ClickTwo Travel, we are continuing on that mission. Allowing more journeys to result from the mass of inspiration that exists online.”

momondo Head of Content and Social Media, Pleasance Coddington, added: “We know at momondo that people can be inspired to travel at any given moment, whether they are thinking about travel or not. In developing ClickTwo Travel, our aim was to open up travellers’ biggest source of inspiration: the entire web.”

Available for free exclusively through the Chrome Store, momondo ClickTwo Travel works with all locations mentioned online - cities, districts, countries right through to parks and places of interest; Every place name transforms into an opportunity to travel.

When a location is double-clicked, users see the price of a return journey to that destination from their nearest airport. This information clicks through to the momondo website, where specific dates and flights can be selected.

momondo ClickTwo Travel is a Chrome extension that works across the entire web.

momondo ClickTwo Travel is available in the Chrome Store.
