Data ownership and excellent online ticketing experience proves a winner for event successAdvanced Ticketing (Advanced) has announced 80% growth in new customer sign-ups for its Advanced Web online ticketing solution. New live event customers, including UK Events Live, Liverpool Zip Wire, Eezy Events, and Isle of Wight.com, are using Advanced Web to set up, sell tickets and promote events from their own branded website.
The solution has been chosen by event organisers and promoters looking to deliver their fans a top class online customer experience, allowing them to purchase tickets from any device and share the experience on Facebook and Twitter with their friends and family.
The white labelled ticketing platform gives venue and event organisers ownership of their customer data, ensuring they can market to their audience with targeted and tailored communications based on their preferences and previous choices.
UK Events Live create, manage and deliver a host of events across the country, selling thousands of tickets each year. Cash flow, integration with Paypal and offering guest list facilities were some of the factors which influenced the decision to use Advanced Web.
Chris Alexander, Managing Director from UK Events Live commented: “We chose Advanced Web to deal with the phenomenal demand we anticipated for new events such as the WearSlide, a brand new 100m slide. We were sold out of the nearly 1,000 tickets available within an hour, offering a seamless online experience for our customers. We were able to limit the tickets per transaction to ensure a fair allocation, as well as capture data to track buying patterns and tailor future offers to people who had bought tickets.
Nick Vass, event organiser from Liverpool Zip Wire said; "Using Advanced Web allowed us to set up our events quickly and introduce online incentives to encourage people to purchase from our fully branded ticketing website. We have been able to capture customer data in the one system, a key priority for us as we look to take the ride to other cities across the UK. We were 100% confident at all times that the system could manage the peaks in demand that a pop-up attraction like the Zip Wire creates."
“With tickets remaining the primary stream of revenue, event organisers and promoters are reliant on appealing to the biggest audience possible. Removing any barriers to purchasing tickets is a number one priority- this is where the delivery of an excellent online experience is playing a critical role in the way organisers are managing their ticketing commerce operations,” comments Mark Dewell, Managing Director at Advanced Ticketing.
He continued, “The feedback we are getting from customers is that Advanced Web makes it very easy to purchase tickets online. In addition, the ability to receive the ticket revenue as soon as the tickets are sold online is critical for managing cash flow, which we know is a top priority for event organisers and promoters. The solution also gives them better control and management of customer data, helping them to make informed decisions around when and how to market to their customers.”
Advanced Web’s user-friendly design supports all types of events and enables organisers or promoters to set up, sell tickets and promote events from their own branded website. By integrating all customer information into one database, the solution provides the opportunity to use personalised communications to engage more effectively with both established and potential audiences.
