Successful networking at events with people2meet by XING

XING EVENTS people2meet tool screen shot
XING EVENTS, the event industry expert for attendee management and event marketing, introduces the new people2meet tool by XING. It allows attendees to discover which attendees they should get in touch with before the event has even begun and thus make their event attendance as successful as possible.

Effective networking prior, during as well as after the event In today’s world the possibility of networking matters as much to attendees as the event itself. On XING members are already receiving personal event recommendations out of more than 150.000 events based on their network and profile information. Additionally XING will now also recommend professionals that attendees should network with.

The business network detects common interests based on profile information and mutual contacts or groups. It also makes use of the social graph in XING to search all data and posts for relevant context. Attendees are therefore able to network with the right people quickly and easily. Using the XING EVENTS app attendees are able to access their contact recommendations and arrange meetings right at the event.

Increased and sustained attendee satisfaction
people2meet offers real additional value not only for event organisers but also for attendees. Individual network recommendations allow attendees to make the most of their event. And satisfied attendees are the best multipliers for your events.

„We are pleased that people2meet has been a success when it made its debut at this years tools conference in Berlin. In combination with the XING business network we are the only company who can offer this service. We were able to create real added value for event organisers as well as for their attendees,” said Dr. Cai-Nicolas Ziegler, CEO of XING EVENTS GmbH.
