KDS launch KDS Neo Expense at its annual conference KDS Now! 2014.

KDS, the European Travel and Expense (T&E) management technology provider, has launched a new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) based expense management technology to an audience of more than eight hundred at its annual T&E conference ‘KDS Now! 2014’. Available on the web, PC and all mobile devices, KDS Neo Expense promises to redefine and simplify the way in which companies manage expenses, cutting the time it takes to complete an expense claim to a matter of seconds. KDS Neo receipt was launched allowing users to upload receipts and pre-populate expense items using optical character recognition with 100% accuracy.

Other travel related innovations such as voice activated door-to-door bookings, Outlook integration and the addition of global public transportation were also introduced.

The KDS Now! 2014 Conference
Now in its fourth year, KDS Now! 2014 saw finance, procurement and travel professionals from all over the world gather in Paris to hear from leading T&E industry experts including PhoCusWright’s Tony D'Astolfo, travel writer Amon Cohen and leading industry expert Scott Gillespie as they discussed the outlook for the industry as we move into 2014. This year’s conference also saw KDS CEO Dean Forbes launch KDS’ new corporate expense management products KDS Neo Expense and KDS Neo Receipts. KDS SVP Oliver Quayle also revealed several new enhancements to the award winning KDS door-to-door travel booking solution KDS Neo.

KDS Neo Expense
To a packed audience KDS CEO Dean Forbes took to the stage to demonstrate KDS’ new expense management solution Neo Expense ( The new software sees a new user friendly interface, allowing users to complete and submit expense claims in less than one minute. The software allows users to drag and drop icons representing types of expense onto a calendar, meaning that with one drag and drop action, users state the what, when, where and why of the expense incurred. This approach replaces the traditional need for users to complete multiple lines and fields in a traditional expense claim form, saving time and reducing errors. The new product promises to drive employee productivity, accuracy of data and employee satisfaction.

KDS CEO, Dean Forbes followed the launch of KDS Neo Expense, by showing its ultimate benefit, speed, as he completed a month’s worth of expense claims in one click of a button.

Enhancements to KDS’ multi award winning door-to-door travel booking tool KDS Neo ( included:
• Voice activated door-to-door bookings, which will enable KDS clients to obtain complete bookable door-to-door trips without pressing a single button.
• KDS Neo Outlook integration which uses the details stated within an Outlook meeting request to complete the door-to-door travel to and from that meeting.
• The addition of public transport options in over 50 countries, allowing KDS Neo to tell you exactly which bus you need to take to get to your meeting, which number bus route, what time that bus will arrive and depart and which stop to get on and off at, all of this and estimated journey times too.

The addition of what KDS term ‘Complete Choice’ which allows users to easily and quickly adjust components within their proposed door-to-door trip.
