Prepare mind, body and soul for Winter at five-star Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, Switzerland

Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, Switzerland

Award-winning wellbeing and medical health resort offers guests a host of new unique spa treatments

This autumn, Europe’s leading wellbeing and medical health resort, Grand Resort Bad Ragaz in Switzerland, is pleased to expand its already impressive spa menu with a selection of new, unique treatments to help guests let go of the tensions and stresses of everyday life and pamper themselves in stunning five-star surroundings. The award-winning resort is also giving female guests the perfect chance to indulge in a well-earned break and spend some valuable time with the special women in their lives with the Girlfriends package.

Nestled in the Heidiland region of the Swiss Alps, just an hour train ride from Zurich through picturesque valleys dotted with stunning alpine lakes, Grand Resort Bad Ragaz is the ideal place to disconnect from the worries and pressures of daily routines. This autumn, guests at Bad Ragaz are invited to experience three new pampering treatments that promise to ease the transition away from sunny summer days.

Guests wanting to strengthen their nails ahead of the cold winter months and leave them shining with a natural glow can treat themselves to a revolutionising Japanese Manicure. After a classic manicure, a traditional Japanese beeswax paste is massaged deep into the nails and a mineral-rich powder is then used to seal them. The 80-minute Japanese Manicure is priced at CHF 140 per person.

Those looking to release muscle and joint tension and reduce stress levels can try the new Transdermal Magnesium Ritual, a combination of a detoxifying magnesium massage and a rejuvenating bath for muscles and joints. While you relax into the massage and enjoy the aromatic fragrance of Sicilian lemon your limbic system will start producing endorphins. Meanwhile, the magnesium will help release tension in your muscles and joints, support a healthy heart and significantly reduce stress levels. The 90-minute Transdermal Magnesium Ritual is priced at CHF 265 per person.

Guests hoping to define their look and improve the shape of their eyebrows this autumn can try Microblading, a special micropigmenting technique that leaves eyebrows looking natural but defined. The treatment comprises an extensive consultation, the exact measuring and drawing of the brow shape that bests suits your face, shade selection, as well as the local anaesthetic, micropigmentation and four-week follow up. The 150-minute Microblading session is priced at CHF 720/ £574* per person.

As well as unlimited access to the resort’s renowned 36.5 Wellbeing & Thermal Spa, the Girlfriends package gives women the chance to take part in daily fitness classes, pamper themselves with an exfoliating body scrub or facial and treat themselves to a manicure or pedicure.
