Having once housed Europe’s first indoor tennis court, which hosted the International Tennis Federation World Championships, there’s no surprise that tennis is one of the most popular summer activities available at Badrutt’s Palace. The parquet floors of the indoor courts may now play home to the hotel’s culinary fold “La Cupole” but guests can still enjoy a rally on the Palace’s outdoor courts, overlooking the St Moritz Lake. Private coaching sessions with the Palace Wellness personal trainers are available for those wanting to improve their game.
Foodie lovers have the chance to find some hidden gems in Engadin this summer as Badrutt’s Palace host their summer ‘Mushroom Foray’ on the 22nd August . The three-hour mushroom hunt teaches guests about the rare and indiginous porcini, gypsy and chanterelle varieties. Back at the Palace, a delicious three-course dinner will showcase the finds in special dishes prepared by Badrutt’s Palace’s Executive Chef.
