inVOYAGE reveals 2018 inSIGHTS programme & Speakers Corner partnership

Andrew Grill and David Meade among highlights at annual luxury meetings and incentives forum
inVOYAGE, the leading international event for the luxury MICE sector, is delighted to announce that this year’s conference programme will feature keynote sessions by Practical Futurist Andrew Grill and BBC’s David Meade.

Former Global Managing Partner at IBM and internationally renowned thought leader in the field of digital disruption, Andrew will provide the opening keynote at the event as part of a new partnership with international speaker bureau Speakers Corner.

Speakers Corner has been named official inSIGHTS Conference Partner for inVOYAGE 2018, which takes place at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah on 1-4 October.

This year’s closing keynote will be provided by David Meade, a world-class international corporate speaker, performer and TV personality with a renowned reputation for helping organisations work more effectively. David will take attendees through an energetic session that promises to engage and improve their decision making, communication, motivation, and problem-solving skills.

The partnership with Speakers Corner sees CEO Nick Gold take on the role of official chair of the inSIGHTS Conference, bringing his expertise to what promises to be an exciting and educational agenda.

Other highlights of the programme include an expert panel session exploring the rise of the luxury hotel ‘experience’ offering. Moderated by industry expert Andrew Sheivachman, business travel editor at Skift, the panel session will explore what’s driving the trend, the evolution of the luxury traveller, what they are demanding from hotels now and in the future, and the importance of “brand” when pitching a hotel for luxury meetings and incentives.

The panel will feature Stuart Mason, SVP Commercial, Revenue and Distribution, Belmond; Dominique Piquemal, Vice President Operations EMEA at Hilton Luxury; Steve Hodges, Director of Incentive Travel, Mary Kay Corp; Richard Bridge, founder & CEO at Top Banana; and Ian Cummings, VP EMEA, CWT Meetings & Events.

Richard Joslin, inVOYAGE Founder & CEO, said: “Working with Nick and the team at Speakers Corner provides a real leap forward for inVOYAGE as we continue to drive higher-value content through the event for the benefit of our delegates. Andrew and David as keynote speakers are incredibly relevant to the events sector and promise to be both exciting and inspiring.”

Nick Gold, CEO of Speakers Corner, added: “Personally I’m incredibly excited to be chairing this event and already looking forward to meeting delegates to learn and share ideas to keep delivering luxury, high-end event experiences. Andrew is a fantastic keynote speaker and I can’t wait to hear how his unique insights can benefit the luxury travel community.”
