As well as the gorgeous Miss Bermuda making a guest appearance, you will also be given the opportunity to experience true Bermudian culture as exotic Gombey dancers perform on stand, bringing the destination to life. The BDOT team will be on hand to answer any queries concerning Bermuda as well as share the philosophy behind the new branding and plans for the destination in 2013.
Bermuda’s rebrand campaign is the culmination of months of research, built around the island’s key tourism products as identified in the National Tourism Master Plan, including: Leisure & Entertainment, Beach, Eco & Nature, Cultural, Sports & Golf, Nautical, Cruise, Business Travel, and Meetings and Incentive groups. The campaign research has been based on consumer profiling and has helped BDOT gain a deeper understanding of the Bermuda customer. The National Tourism Plan serves to define the consumer’s vision of the destination, and BDOT will be bringing this vision to life at the World Travel Market.
One lucky visitor to the stand will also have a chance of winning a trip to this beautiful island and explore the wonders of Bermuda first hand.
William Griffith, the Director of Tourism for Bermuda commented: “The World Travel Market is a fantastic opportunity for us to bring a taste of Bermuda to the UK and to affirm our new slogan that there is “so much more” to Bermuda. The island not only offers naturally beautiful views and landscapes, but it is infused with culture and history and has a variety of things to see, do and enjoy in all seasons throughout the year. We are looking forward to exhibiting at the event and we are keen to communicate our message by sharing some of the many wonders that Bermuda has to offer.”
