The new Slides feature addresses the frequently asked question of “can I get a copy of the slides?” by allowing planners to effectively distribute presentation decks to their audience, with the uploading process only taking a few seconds.
Attendees can view all slides, bookmark their favorites and even download the entire presentation to their preferred device, such as a smartphone, tablet or laptop. The process is quick, effective and easy to use, in keeping with Slido’s strategy of keeping things simple and intuitive to enrich the delegate experience and minimize workload for event organisers.
Beginning in beta last year, Slido has tested and refined the feature by implementing it at hundreds of events and conferences. Now the feature is available to all new and current users and has been integrated with the core Q&A and polling features which Slido is known for.
The integration enables a greater interaction with speakers and their content as attendees can easily submit their questions, participate in live polls and review the content all from the same interface. Organisers can send the Slido link via email, so every delegate can easily find presentations and access content and ideas before, during and after the event. Moreover, a Slido page can be embedded in the event website page so that the slides are also available to online viewers.
Slido CEO Peter Komornik comments: “We are really excited to officially launch our new product, Slides. We have been thrilled with the response to the private beta testing phase, as we always wanted to find a simple solution that would enable a greater interaction with speakers and their content.
“With our recent expansion to the US, it seems there could not be a better location to launch our newest product than IMEX America and we are really excited to see the response it gets from delegates.”
Slides is compatible with most presentation file formats and is automatically converted to PDF for secure file sharing.
