Event Tech Live Launch Pad: new area for start-ups and new technology added to Event Tech Live 2016

With an impressive number of exhibitors already confirmed for Event Tech Live 2016, organiser AMP Events has announced that they will be extending the floor plan to incorporate a brand new area for start-ups and new technology launches, when the show returns to the Old Truman Brewery on 9th November.

The Event Tech Live Launch Pad is a new initiative that offers providers of new event technology an effective way to meet industry buyers, investors and connect with the wider events industry.  Commenting on the addition of the new area, AMP Events’ commercial director, Adam Parry said: “Our sector thrives on start-ups and new products, everyone is looking for the next big thing and breakthroughs in event tech. Supporting start-ups and the companies investing in new technologies and products is something that we feel strongly about. We believe that the Event Tech Live Launch Pad will bring new and relevant content to the show floor in 2016. It is vital that we continue to grow and develop Event Tech Live and this new area demonstrates our commitment to delivering our attendees the very best event possible.”

Housed in an adjoining space at the Old Truman Brewery, T4, it will give attendees access to an additional 20 exhibitors, private meeting rooms, workshop areas and its own dedicated stage. The Launch Pad stage will feature start-up pitch and supporter sessions. A number of high profile sponsors have already been secured.

Supported by the Event Technology Awards, Event Tech Lab, Eventive Communications and Event Industry News, the Event Tech Live Launch Pad is essentially a showroom where attendees can learn about the very latest technology to hit the event marketplace. Spaces within the Event Tech Live Launch Pad will include graphics, Wi-Fi, power and access to the Event Tech Live’s marketing resource pre and post show.
