Big names set for Academic Venue Show 2016

Blue-chip companies to join high-profile associations at UK’s only exhibition dedicated to academic venues.
Venuemasters has revealed that The Academic Venue Show 2016, the UK’s only one-day event showcasing the meeting and accommodation facilities at academic venues, is attracting a range of top organisations.

AVS 2016’s prestigious crowd of attendees is set to include blue-chip companies such as The Walt Disney Company, Capita and Pearson plus high-profile charities and associations such as The Ramblers, which has over 100,000 members, Macmillan Cancer Support and Kidney Research UK.

“Every kind of organisation loves the quality and value offered by academic venues, and AVS is the place to find the best of them,” says Natalie Williamson, Marketing Manager at Venuemasters. “We’re looking forward to welcoming such prestigious visitors this year, and we’re sure they’ll discover many fantastic new venues among our exhibitors. For anyone yet to register, AVS is free to attend.”

Matching the diversity of AVS 2016’s visitors are the show’s exhibiting venues. Event organisers can meet experts from 40 conference, meeting and group accommodation venues, in 30 different urban and rural locations across the UK.

The Academic Venue Show takes place on 11th May at the historic Royal Horticultural Halls in Westminster, London. The show will also feature a live seminar by Olympic medal-winner Sharron Davies MBE, exclusive venue rates and special offers, and opportunities to network with hundreds of event industry colleagues.

Based on visitor feedback, 94 per cent of visitors found AVS 2015 useful. Kelly Roberts of NUS Services described it as “a great show to attend if you are looking for new venues with great rates.”
