Packed AVS to showcase 30 event locations

Academic Venue Show packed Aisle

Event organisers to save time and money at Academic Venue Show on 11th May 2016

Great locations makes for great events, and this year’s Academic Venue Show (AVS) will showcase venues from 30 different locations in a single day. AVS 2016 is the only place event organisers can discover such a wide range of high quality, great-value venues in one place.

“Every year the Academic Venue Show saves event organisers time and money, by helping them to find all the locations and venues they need in one place,” says Terry Billingham, CEO at Venuemasters. “In 2016, 40 superb academic venues from 30 different locations will be exhibiting under the Royal Horticultural Halls’ glass roof. And AVS is still free to attend.”   The range of locations on offer at AVS 2016 spans the UK, and includes both city and rural venues. The range also covers conference, meeting and group accommodation facilities. Visitors will also be able to meet with experts from each venue to discuss their requirements. Pre-booked appointments with venue experts are available.

The Academic Venue Show takes place on 11th May at the Royal Horticultural Halls in Westminster, London. It is the UK’s only one-day event dedicated to showcasing the quality and value of academic venues. Also at AVS 2016, event organisers can attend a live presentation by Olympic medal-winner Sharron Davies, take advantage of exclusive rates and offers, and network with hundreds of events industry colleagues.

Feedback from last year’s show reveals visitors’ events and academic venues are a winning combination. 94 per cent of visitors found the show helpful, with Allyson Brown of the British Medical Acupuncture Society commenting: “So useful to have the right kind of venues for my needs all under one roof.”
