Julius Solaris to host #AskJulius keynote session at Event Tech Live 2015

Julius Solaris
Event industry guru Julius Solaris will host a unique question and answer keynote session at Event Tech Live 2015, which will provide the event professionals in attendance with an opportunity to ‘Ask him anything’.
Taking place at the Old Truman Brewery, 11th November at 11am on the Main Stage the session will contain no pre-planned presentation and will simply be an opportunity for attendees to pick his brains.

Julius is a regular guest speaker at high profile conferences, but decided that the Event Tech Live audience would benefit more from his session if they were allowed to dictate the content.

“We’re seeing loads of technology coming to market that is designed to promote attendee and audience interaction”, said Julius. “Despite this, we still plan our conference sessions so that only a very limited amount of time is dedicated for questions from the attendees. I’ve delivered keynote presentations that have been very well received, but yet the really interesting parts have come at the end when the audience gets a chance to ask me questions. At Event Tech Live 2015 we’re going to skip the presentation and cut straight to the part where the audience can ask their questions.”

Event Tech Live attendees can also put their questions to Julius in advance by combining the hashtags #AskJulius and #ETL15 in the same tweet and a selected few will be incorporated into the session and displayed on the main stage.

Director of Event Tech Live Adam Parry commented on the news: “I’m delighted to be welcoming Julius back to Event Tech Live. His expertise in this specific field is renowned, so it makes complete sense to give our attendees the unique opportunity to put their questions to him. The ask-me-anything format has been successfully delivered on media platforms like Reddit, so we’re confident of translating it into a live environment.”
