Corinthia Hotels premiere at IMEX America 2015

Corinthia Hotels, the internationally renowned brand of luxury hotels, will attend IMEX America for the first time this year, 13-15 October 2015, to showcase its outstanding ‘Events at Corinthia’ programme and recent upgrades to its MICE facilities and initiatives across the portfolio. The five-star Corinthia properties in London, Budapest, St Petersburg, Prague and Lisbon will be represented at the Las Vegas trade show, at Booth 1957.

Dale Scharlat, Head of MICE & Group Sales for Corinthia Hotels since 2013, and the primary MICE sales contact for the North America region, will be taking appointments during IMEX. Dale is based in New York and works closely with her European colleagues to drive brand recognition and sales in the American group and MICE market. She was previously Director of Group Sales (North America) with Concorde Hotels & Resorts and has over 20 years of industry experience with strong background in Global Sales.

Headline MICE Initiatives from Corinthia Hotels 2015
Corinthia Hotels, the internationally renowned collection of luxury hotels, launched ‘Food for Thought’, a range of new healthy eating options for MICE planners and their business travellers, aimed at keeping them physically healthy and mentally focused, developed in collaboration with a leading Nutritional Therapist, Jeannette Hyde. Each of the nine Corinthia hotels offers their own unique Food for Thought menu based on fresh and locally-sourced ingredients. The menus have been designed by Corinthia chefs and expert nutritionist Jeannette Hyde, who is a degree-qualified Nutritional Therapist trained in Functional Medicine. (May 2015)

Corinthia Hotels launched a dedicated Meetings app aimed at event organisers and their delegates, ensuring the ultimate in personalised connectivity throughout corporate events at Corinthia. Easily downloadable and instantly updateable, it is the ideal way for event organisers to stay in touch with their delegates, inform them of last-minute meeting changes and any upcoming activities, using the dedicated My Meetings section of the app. The app’s features also include information about the hotels, an overview of Corinthia Offers and a ‘Book My Room’ reservation feature. The app, named ‘Corinthia Hotels’, is free and available on iOS and Android. (May 2015)

The award-winning Corinthia Hotel Budapest launches its brand-new Royal Lounge, Hungary’s first lounge dedicated to organisers of MICE events among its 5-star hotels. Reserved exclusively for event organisers and meeting participants, The Royal Salon will feature offices, boardrooms and rest areas, all fitted with 21st-century equipment. The Lounge will greatly enhance the comfort and convenience of event organisers, as well as the efficiency of organisational work, and its proximity to the hotel’s Events Team offices promises easy and direct contact with the hotel’s staff. (September 2015) Corinthia Hotel Prague, leading MICE hotel in the Czech Republic, continues its drive to be the best, having successfully completed its ambitious €250,000-project to upgrade the hotel’s meetings and events audio-visual infrastructure. Highlights include a first of its kind in Prague 4.54 X 2.55 M SI BLACK screen to absorb ambient light, information Touch Multimedia kiosks (pictured), state of the art screens and projectors in main meeting spaces, and brand-new sound systems and lighting rigs. Corinthia Prague was further awarded Czech Republic’s Leading Business Hotel at the 2015 World Travel Awards. (February 2015)

The five-star Corinthia Hotel Lisbon has been awarded both Europe's Leading Green Hotel and Portugal's Leading Conference Hotel at the 2015 World Travel Awards, held in Sardinia, Italy. These awards recognise the hotel’s outstanding energy efficiency hotel project as well as for its world-class business facilities and service. (September 2015)
